About Me
I'm a full-stack engineer with 7+ years of experience building web applications at scale. I'm passionate about clean code, performance optimization, and creating delightful user experiences.
Background
After earning my degree in Computer Science, I started as a frontend developer and gradually expanded into full-stack development. I've worked with startups, scale-ups, and established companies—each experience teaching me something valuable about building sustainable software.
My journey:
- Years 1-2: Focused on frontend development, mastering React and web standards
- Years 3-4: Expanded to backend development, learning Node.js and database design
- Years 5-7: Led technical initiatives, mentored junior engineers, and contributed to open-source projects
What I Do Best
Full-Stack Development I excel at designing and building complete applications from database schema to user interface. I understand the trade-offs at each layer and optimize for reliability, performance, and maintainability.
Performance Optimization Whether it's database query optimization, frontend rendering performance, or API latency, I take a data-driven approach to identifying and fixing bottlenecks.
Scalability & Architecture I've designed systems handling millions of requests and terabytes of data. I'm experienced with distributed systems, caching strategies, and architectural patterns for growth.
Developer Experience Code should be a pleasure to work with. I invest in tooling, documentation, and code quality to make development smooth for my team.
Tech Stack
I'm most productive with:
- Frontend: React, TypeScript, modern CSS
- Backend: Node.js with Express or Fastify
- Database: PostgreSQL for structured data, Redis for caching
- Infrastructure: Docker, AWS, GitHub Actions for CI/CD
Outside of Code
When I'm not coding, you'll find me:
- Contributing to open-source projects
- Writing technical blog posts
- Mentoring junior developers
- Exploring new frameworks and tools
- Rock climbing on weekends
Let's Connect
I'm always interested in:
- Interesting technical challenges
- Mentoring and teaching opportunities
- Collaborations on meaningful projects
- Technical discussions and debates
